Basic Overview of the Game

The aim of the game is to get your bowl as close to the jack/white as possible.

This can be done using a number of shots such as the forehand or backhand.

Bowlers will stand with at least one foot on the mat when taking their shot.

The mat and the jack/white is set by the first bowler and have to be in line with the rink number markers.

This is a basic explanation of the game, however, our coaching sessions will be able to explain in much more detail.

Here are some points about conduct on the green that we would appreciate you follow:

Please refrain from using mobile phones on the green.

Please use the stairs when entering and exiting the green.

No drinks are to be consumed on the green, please keep them on the side.

Do not sit on the edge of the banking

Please be respectful of other bowlers while they are taking their shot.
